Beloved,

Grace be to you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Indeed, life has its brutal challenges and human plights are not few in number.  In this limited life we live wherein are our days short and they full of trouble, often seen is the moon of sorrow eclipsing the sun of joy.  So have we times of darkness, wondering when they will end, faintly hoping for brighter days.  Yet God is good and His mercy endures forever; in whom we rejoice in hope, for that He is the God of all hope.

Now it is written, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him" (Ps.34:8).  What a wonderful exhortation is this, full of compassion and love, for that the Lord loves us and keeps us as the apple of His eye.

But dear child of God, who loves you forever and ever, having saved you by His grace and given you good hope, know that to taste and see that He is good in your dark seasons, even your troublesome times, you must trust in  Him, seeing that without faith is it impossible to please Him.  By the great hand of His blessing shall the moon of sorrow be moved so that the glorious light of the sun of joy may shine forth unto you, filling your life with joy unspeakable.  Praise the Lord.

Mind you, Job, a man who had his own dark times, trusted in the Lord, and the Lord blessed him.  Job used his faith to taste and see the Lord's goodness, and so should you, for that he is the same yesterday, today and forever. He changes not. Amen.

Precious one, be not dismayed at human sorrow,  nor be discouraged by what you may see.  Through the eyes of faith see life as a big bowl of opportunities for your Almighty God who loves you and for whom is nothing too hard.  He specializes in impossibilities!  Glory to His name forever.  So keep the faith, and keep yourself in His love, bearing all things, believing all things, hoping all things, enduring all things.  My love be with you in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
