Key
scripture: "Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find
a COLT TIED, whereupon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do
ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him" ((Luke 19:30, 31).
Jewel of
Enlightenment:
A colt
is a young male horse. From a spiritual viewpoint, in this young generation, the Lord is raising up "young horses" that
can carry His glorious Gospel. But many of these "colts" are "tied" or held with the cords of their
sins. They need to be "loosed" or set free from what they're tied to. They need to be loosed not only
because they need to be saved, but also because the Lord has need of them. They're meant to be His "Gospel colts."
The devil is really attacking and enslaving our young generation:
tying them to drugs and alcohol, gambling, gangs, a life of crime, etc. Instead of serving in prisons, they should be
serving the Lord in ministry, being saved, set free, healed of their life disappointments/painful hurts, walking at liberty,
being made free by the Lord.
Let's get serious like never
before and with the spirit of intercession heavy upon us, let us pray with fasting for our young generation, boldly declaring
to the devil that he can't have them; boldly decreeing that they shall serve the Lord, and Him only shall they serve.
They're not hopeless, no matter how they may look or what they may do or who they may join themselves to. They're predestined
ministers of Christ, whether they know it or not. The Lord can take that mess and turn them into ministering flames
of fire for His glory.
Pray that these "tied colts"
be loosed to serve the Lord. Never give up on them. Never cast them away as profane or utterly useless.
Never discourage them. Love them. Have compassion on them. Pray for them. Condemn the sin but not
the sinner. The grace of God that brings salvation appears to all.
The Lord loves them and has need of them. He has work for them to do. He has a ministry for each of them.
Therefore, be found by the Lord, the Savior of the world, to stand in the gap for them, and to make up the hedge. Be
their 'Blood-pleaders.' The Lord needs them and they need YOU...to pray them out of their prisons!
