When it comes to the Lord working in the lives of people, this world can be divided into two spiritual
regions of contrast. There is what I call the “U region,” which is simply where unbelief can be found
in this world.
The
Lord can do no mighty work in the lives of unbelieving people. Their unbelief causes them to harden their hearts
against the Lord that they WILL NOT let Him help them; so they miss out on His miraculous touch in their lives. They will
not “believe” Him for miracles.
They can have an illness or disease but won’t believe Him for a miracle of healing. They can
have crushing debt but won’t believe Him for a miracle of financial freedom. They can have a loved one that’s
in bondage of some kind but won’t believe the Lord for a miracle of divine deliverance. They can have an urgent need
but won’t believe Him for miraculous provision. They can have heart’s desires but won’t believe Him to give
them the desires of their heart.
So the Lord can do no mighty work “there”—in their lives. The “U region”
has no demand for Divine supply. No real happiness or manifestation of Divine prosperity can be found in that spiritual region.
These very people have declined “heaven on earth.”
In contrast to the “U region” is the “F region,” which
is simply where faith can be found in this world.
“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son
of man cometh, shall he FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH?” (Luke 18:8, KJV).
The Lord can do
mighty work in the lives of believing people. Their faith causes them to soften for the Lord that they WILL let Him
help them; so they expect, experience, and enjoy His miraculous touch in their lives.
They’ll “believe” the Lord for miracles.
If they have an illness or disease, they’ll believe Him for a miracle of healing. If they have crushing debt, they’ll
believe Him for a miracle of financial freedom. If they have a loved one that’s in bondage of some kind, they’ll
believe the Lord for a miracle of divine deliverance. If they have an urgent need, they’ll believe Him for miraculous
provision. If they have heart’s desires, they’ll believe Him to give them the desires of their heart.
So the Lord can do mighty work “there”—in
their lives. The “F region” has great demand for Divine supply. Real happiness and manifestation of Divine prosperity
can be found in this spiritual region. These very people desire “heaven on earth.”
In light of all that’s been said
of these two spiritual regions, which are you located in? Are you settled in unbelief or established in faith? Understand
that unbelief closes the door to the Lord’s presence and power in your life; but faith flings wide open the door to
His presence and power in your life.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV).
Beloved, if you’re
located in the “U region,” then I exhort you to relocate to the “F region,” so you can begin partaking
of the divine nature and enjoying the divine blessings. If you’re already located in the “F region,” then
I encourage you to remain “there,” lest the trials of life take their toll on you, and you become discouraged,
only to cast away your confidence in the Lord, which has great recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35).
The Lord is in heaven but you’re
the apple of His eye here on earth. He loves you and wants you to believe Him for what you both need and desire. By faith,
you can have your pressing needs supernaturally supplied and your impossible desires miraculously given.
To be located in the “F region”
means to live by faith. It allows the Lord to be a part of your everyday life. Not only does He want you to be with Him in
heaven (when you leave this world); He also wants to be with you while you’re here on earth!
